Stockholm is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Stockholm:

Day 1:

Start your day by visiting the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which is one of the largest palaces in Europe. You can take a guided tour of the palace and explore its many rooms and halls. After that, head over to Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm. This charming area is filled with narrow streets, colorful buildings, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Take a stroll through the streets and stop for lunch at one of the many cozy cafes. In the afternoon, visit the Vasa Museum, which houses the world's only preserved 17th-century ship. The museum is located on the island of Djurgården and is easily accessible by public transport.

Day 2:

Start your day by taking a boat tour of the Stockholm archipelago. The archipelago consists of over 30,000 islands and islets, and the boat tour will give you a chance to see some of the most beautiful ones. After the boat tour, head over to the Skansen Open-Air Museum, which is also located on the island of Djurgården. The museum showcases traditional Swedish life and culture and has a zoo with Nordic animals. In the evening, head over to Södermalm, a trendy neighborhood known for its hip bars and restaurants. Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants and then head out for drinks at one of the bars.

Day 3:

Start your day by visiting the City Hall of Stockholm, which is famous for its beautiful architecture and the Nobel Prize banquet that takes place there every year. Take a guided tour of the City Hall and learn about its history and significance. After that, head over to the Fotografiska Museum, which is a must-visit for photography enthusiasts. The museum has exhibitions by both Swedish and international photographers. In the evening, head over to Östermalm, a posh neighborhood known for its high-end shopping and dining. Enjoy dinner at one of the many upscale restaurants and then take a stroll through the streets to see the beautiful architecture.
