Stockholm is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Stockholm:

Day 1:

Start your day by visiting the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which is one of the largest palaces in Europe. You can take a guided tour of the palace and explore its many rooms and halls. After that, head over to Gamla Stan, which is the old town of Stockholm. This area is full of charming cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and quaint cafes. Take a stroll through the narrow alleys and admire the architecture.

For lunch, try some traditional Swedish cuisine at a local restaurant. Some popular dishes include meatballs, herring, and smoked salmon. After lunch, visit the Vasa Museum, which houses a 17th-century warship that sank on its maiden voyage. The ship was salvaged in the 1960s and is now on display in the museum.

In the evening, head to the trendy neighborhood of Södermalm. This area is known for its hip bars, restaurants, and shops. Grab a drink at a rooftop bar and enjoy the views of the city.

Day 2:

Start your day by taking a boat tour of the Stockholm archipelago. This group of islands is located just outside the city and is home to stunning scenery and wildlife. You can take a guided tour or rent a kayak and explore on your own.

After the boat tour, head to the ABBA Museum, which is dedicated to the famous Swedish pop group. You can learn about their history, listen to their music, and even sing along to their songs in a karaoke booth.
