Shanghai is a vibrant city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Shanghai:

Day 1:

Start your day by visiting the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower, which offers stunning views of the city from its observation deck. After that, head to the famous Yuyuan Garden, a beautiful classical Chinese garden with traditional architecture and scenic landscapes.

For lunch, try some delicious local street food at the nearby Yuyuan Bazaar, where you can find a variety of snacks and souvenirs.

In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum, which houses a vast collection of ancient Chinese art and artifacts. Then, take a stroll along the Bund, a waterfront promenade that offers breathtaking views of the city skyline.
