Afterward, head to the nearby Middleton Place, another historic plantation with beautiful gardens and a house to tour. For lunch, try some seafood at The Ordinary, a restaurant that specializes in oysters. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the French Quarter, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Charleston. End your day with a visit to the Charleston Museum, which has exhibits on the city's history.

Day 3:

Start your day with a visit to the Charleston Tea Plantation, the only tea plantation in the United States. Take a tour of the plantation and learn about the tea-making process.
